Report Abuse & Anti-Spam Policy

Kontacta is a modern web platform for email marketing, automations, and deliverability that enables businesses and professionals to design email templates, manage subscriber lists, and schedule transactional messages and newsletters. We actively monitor our infrastructure to ensure full compliance with our Terms of Service, anti-spam policies, and international regulations.

Multi-Tenant Architecture & Domain Isolation:

All customer workspaces (Tenants) operate on isolated container environments and dedicated sending endpoints under the *.kontacta.net domain. Any violation or abuse is promptly isolated, attributed, and addressed at the individual tenant level without affecting legitimate users.

1. How to Report Abuse

To report abuse or unsolicited messages originating from accounts associated with Kontacta, please email abuse@kontacta.net with the following information:

Full RFC 822 MIME email headers: (including Received:, Message-ID:, From:, and To: fields) or the full URL of the abusive landing page / hosted resource.
Detailed description of the issue: (e.g., unsolicited spam, phishing, malware, fraud, missing unsubscribe link).
Screenshots or evidence: (if available).
Your contact information: (optional; reports may also be submitted anonymously).

What happens after you submit a report?

Our security and compliance team reviews and investigates all reports within 24 business hours. Confirmed abuse will be addressed with immediate enforcement actions, including:

Immediate content removal and blocking of abusive sending/tracking endpoints.
Temporary suspension or permanent termination of the offending tenant account.
Reporting and full cooperation with law enforcement agencies in cases of cybercrime, phishing, or malware distribution.

2. What Constitutes Abuse?

Kontacta strictly prohibits the misuse of its platform for fraudulent, deceptive, or malicious activities. Prohibited actions include:

🚨 Spam & Unsolicited Email (Non-compliant Cold Emailing)

Sending mass emails to purchased, rented, or third-party scraped lists; sending emails without prior consent (Opt-In or Double Opt-In); omitting sender physical contact info or functional 1-click unsubscribe links (RFC 8058).

🛡️ Phishing, Fraud & Identity Theft

Creating emails, landing pages, or web forms that impersonate financial institutions, brands, or third-party services to harvest passwords, credit cards, or user credentials.

🦠 Malware & Harmful Scripts

Hosting, linking to, or distributing viruses, ransomware, spyware, exploit kits, or malicious attachments that compromise user devices.

🚫 Illegal or Prohibited Material

Hosting or transmitting content that violates applicable European and international laws (counterfeit goods, unlicensed online pharmacies, financial scams, defamatory or violent material).

⚖️ Intellectual Property & Trademark Infringement

Unauthorized use of copyrighted materials, registered trademarks, or proprietary branding belonging to other organizations.

3. How Kontacta Monitors & Prevents Abuse

To maintain high network reputation and protect mailbox placement for all legitimate senders, Kontacta enforces rigorous controls:

Mandatory pre-approval of every corporate tenant account before email sending is unlocked.
Automated deliverability telemetry: automatic sending pause if bounce rates exceed 5% or spam complaints exceed 0.08%.
Global real-time suppression lists synchronized across ZoneMTA sending engines to block unsubscribed addresses, hard bounces, and spam traps.
Mandatory cryptographic authentication via SPF, 2048-bit DKIM, and DMARC alignment compliant with Google, Yahoo, and Apple standards.

4. Relationship with ISPs, Postmasters & Anti-Abuse Networks

Kontacta collaborates closely with Internet Service Providers (ISPs), major mailbox providers (Gmail, Microsoft 365, Yahoo, Apple Mail), and global anti-abuse intelligence networks (Spamhaus, SURBL, SpamCop). 5. Official Domains & Preventing False Positives

All official Kontacta services operate strictly under the domain patterns listed below. When reporting or remediating abuse, we recommend identifying and filtering the specific tenant subdomain rather than blocklisting our entire shared root infrastructure:

Kontacta complies fully with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR - EU Reg. 2016/679). All abuse reports received by our desk are handled with strict confidentiality and processed promptly in accordance with data subject rights and lawful judicial orders.
